Types Of FSSAI License:
There are three different types of FSSAI License namely
Types Of Fssai License:
It is application be companies which are mid-sized and have annual turnover anywhere between Rs 12 to 20 crores.
Fssai Central License:
This type of license is suitable for large businesses who have Rs 20 crores and above annual turnover. It is also ideal for cases where you need to provide government offices or else export or import food products.
Fssai Basic Registration:
This type of registration is suitable for startups or small businesses that have Rs 12 lakhs as their annual turnover. It can also be updated then to state license when your graph of sale gets increased.
Guidelines To Get Fssai License Number:
- The 14 digit FSSAI License number offers data regarding the manufacturer’s registration details, license and the state of manufacturing that will be named as FSSAI No.
- The importer displays FSSAI license number and logo with the address and name of the importer on a sticker in their food products in case of imported food products.
Steps To Get Fssai License Registered:
Complete the FSSAI licensing registration form A on the website of FSSAI, and you need to make the payment of the application at your nearby locality FBO.
Once the payment made is confirmed, it will be reflected in your account. The next step is to fill the form B with the Government. There are multiple resolutions and declarations which need to be filled with the applications.
The next step is to follow up with the department for any application update. The government department will send back the application for editing. If you didn’t respond within 15 days of the form, then the Government will reject your request.
It will be a period of 40 to 60 working days for the government department to review your application and approve the license.
