The deadline for linking EPF accounts to Aadhar has been extended to 31st December, 2021 for the establishments in North East and for a certain class of establishments. As per the security code 2020 it is mandatory for all UAN members account to be Aadhaar verified and link EPF account to Aadhaar.
Your contributions can be stopped if you don’t link your EPFO accounts to Aadhar by 31st December, 2021. It is very easy to link the EPF accounts to Aadhaar through many different ways.

- On e-KYC portal of EPFO through OTP verification
- On e-KYC portal of EPFO through biometric credentials
You can also check if your UAN is Aadhaar verified through the EPFO portal by
- visiting the unified portal and log in using your username and password
- After logging in select KYC under the manage tab.
- In documents check if your Aadhaar number appears as approved. If yes then your account is Aadhaar verified.
If not you can link UAN with Aadhar using the following steps.
- Log into the unified portal using your username and password.
- After logging in select KYC under the manage tab.
- Press Link UAN Aadhaar.
- Click add KYC and enter your Aadhaar number, PAN and complete the KYC details required.
- EPFO will contact your company for verification and then your UAN account will be linked to your Aadhar.
